About Me

I am 27 years old and have been through many things already in life. I am learning to trust God and I pray not that He changes my circumstances but changes me!!! There are things in life that we cannot control but God will give us what we need in the moment we go through the valley. I am a new member of Gathsemane Baptist Church in Mesquite. The people of the church are so great and they love you and Jesus. The pastor is Jerry Brown and he is so real.... He is a minister and a friend.

Start spreading the news

Ok everyone today is the last day here in dallas texas. Because tomorrow I am off to New York City for a mission trip. I have a lot of excitement, anticipation and nervousness. Ok, I know everyone wants to know my fears but here they are. I am scared too death about flying on an airplane. So we will see how everything goes on that..... I will think happy and calm thoughts throughout the trip. I am also scared about getting lost but I have my pass to give to the cab driver that tells him where my hotel is. This is so exciting and I am sure that I will have more to tell when I get back.......

Is the title of your blog inspired by the song "It's bananas, b-a-n-a-n-a-s"? Becuase if it is, I'd like for you to explain to me what in the world that song it about. It's a mystery to me. My recommendation for the plane flight is this: take some crayons and turn the barf bags into puppets. They can talk to each other and the people around you and you'll forget you're flying! Just a suggestion...
